European Thrust Washer

Included with all Ball Mounted Dollies, the European Thrust Washer is an optional Adapter designed for Trailers with step-down hitches/lips. The Thrust Washer can be inserted to increase the height of the Ball Mount to provide more surface area while tightening or removed to bypass any protrusions on the hitch.

STANDARD CONNECTION

A flush, tight connection between the ball mount and coupler. Flat, without any visible gaps. A Thrust Washer isn't required for this type of connection:

CONNECTION WITH EUROPEAN THRUST WASHER

Required when protrusions on the hitch prevent a flush, flat connection. The Thrust Washer can be removed to bypass imperfections on the hitch:
